This marks Richards' first potential regular TV job since his November 2006 racially charged rant at Hollywood's Laugh Factory.

The 63-year-old actor has appeared on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and Jerry Seinfeld's web series, "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," since ending his nine season run of the hit NBC sitcom in 1998.
