Looking at Rachel McAdams and co-star Olga Kurylenko at the Toronto premiere of "To the Wonder" Monday night, we can't help but wonder whether they took the time to coordinate their outfits.
Both actresses wore a virtually identical shade of green at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, with McAdams in a single-shouldered Elie Saab gown and Kurylenko in a sparkly lace Emilio Pucci frock.
It might be no mistake that the stars were both wearing the colour of envy. Their film, directed by Terrence Malick, revolves around a man (Ben Affleck) who reunites with a former lover (McAdams) after his marriage to Kurylenko's character dissolves.
"I think what's great is that Terry doesn't really have just one idea [about a character]," McAdams told the Globe and Mail at the premiere. "He allows people to take what they will from his films. For me, it was about a second chance."
After the premiere Monday night, both actresses attended the film's after party at Modus Ristorante.
McAdams will hit the red carpet again tonight for her second TIFF 2012 film, "Passion," in which she plays a scheming boss whose employee plots her murder. The film's newly released trailer caused a stir last month, revealing a scene in which McAdams and co-star Noomi Rapace get hot and heavy.
