Perhaps this is better than revenge.

Three years after the infamous VMA incident, Taylor Swift appears in the April issue of Australia's Harper's Bazaar, wearing clothing designed by none other than Kanye West.

In the photo, the 22-year-old "Better Than Revenge" singer wears a black striped top designed by West (who recently presented his second collection at Paris Fashion Week), as well as a Maison Martin Margiela wrap, which is accessorized with necklaces by Tiffany & Co. and Fiona Paxton.

"For those who might wonder if the hatchet is buried between Taylor and Kanye West, following Kayne's outburst at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, well, there she is in our story wearing a Kayne West top from his first collection," the editors wrote.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the VMA controversy (where have you been?), Swift was on stage accepting the award for Best Female Video for "You Belong With Me" when West crashed the stage. As a shocked Swift looked on, West stole the microphone from her in order to tell the world that Beyoncé's video for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" was "one of the best videos of all time."

Though West later phoned Swift to apologize (an apology she accepted),  the country singer was still smarting when she started writing her next album, "Speak Now." She has admitted that her song "Innocent," was written to the rapper.

West responded in kind, also penning a track for her. "I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it," he tweeted. "If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her."

Though said song didn't get much play after that, West's designer duds are a nice consolation prize.
