Ryan Lochte is taking on Hollywood. The Olympic gold medalist is heading to E! with a new reality show “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?” However, the swimmer is not putting the cart before the horse (or, “fame before water, so to speak).

“I’m so excited about my new show and even more excited I can finally talk about it!” Ryan tells omg! in an exclusive statement following yesterday’s show announcement at E!’s Television Critics Association (TCA) panel.

“Swimming is still my focus,” the gold medalist continues. “Training for Rio is my priority—that won’t change. This is just another way for me to connect with my fans (who were the driving force behind the show), and have them be a part of the process in prepping for the 2016 Games.”

The six-episode docu-series “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?” is set to premiere on E! this April.
