Nick Cannon slams Chelsea Handler, again, for dissing Mariah Carey

It seems Mariah Carey isn't the only diva in her household. Her hubby Nick Cannon is getting all up in Chelsea Handler's grill -- again -- for dissing his precious family.

"I hear @ChelseaHandler is out there talking s--- about my wife again!" he tweeted Monday morning. "She's lucky I'm trying to live right now! Jesus my cup runneth over."

The "America's Got Talent" host wouldn't go into details about what Handler allegedly said about his wife (and a search of her on-air and online comments turned up nothing), but he suggested she was "still bitter that she got blasted" on his radio show. Cannon was referring to the time the "Chelsea Lately" host called in to "Rollin' with Nick Cannon" to promote her book, not knowing he was the Nick Cannon.

"It's okay I still love you!" Cannon tweeted this morning, but his ensuing message suggested that maybe his love wasn't so pure.

"When miserable people see happiness they must attack it," he wrote. "You know me, I'm always up for a good joke or wise crack but when people talk about my family the 'Hood' in me wants to come out!"

Cannon and Handler got into a Twitter war two years ago, thanks to the 36-year-old comedian's tweet, "I just heard Nick Cannon is starting a comedy tour. Who's going to do the comedy?"

Cannon didn't think her quip was funny and proceeded to call her "ugly white trash" and a series of other names, before they eventually made up on his radio show.

"She was constantly on her show, kind of picking on me and my wife," Cannon explained last year. "You can say what you want about me, but when you start talking about my wife, I get a little sensitive. Hey, that's my family, you know? The protective lion comes out."

Cannon claims he has since learned "cooler heads prevail." Geez, we'd hate to see him with a hot head.
