The Cronut craze has officially hit Hollywood.
Heidi Klum, who is better known for her killer bod than her love of pastries, is a Cronut convert after sinking her teeth into one of the highly-sought after doughnut-croissant hybrids that have been causing a stir in New York City this summer.
"I have literally waited weeks to try one of @dominiqueansel's #cronuts and it was definitely worth the wait! #yummy #lecker," the 40-year-old "America's Got Talent" judge wrote on Wednesday, along with a photo of her gleefully holding one of delicacies, which has become so coveted that people have been standing in line for hours outside Ansel's bakery in New York City's SoHo neighborhood just to get one.
We are certain that Klum herself didn't wait in that line, which foodies gather in by 6:30 a.m. each day in hopes of getting one of the only 200 flaky treats made each day. And it appears she was exempt from the two Cronuts per person rule the bakery employs because, as she headed from NYC to Los Angeles on Wednesday night, she had enough of them for her family.
"Flying home with a box of #cronuts for my loved ones," the mother of four wrote, posting this amazing photo of her, in a posh private plane, with the treats ― in their signature gold packaging ― safely buckled in their own seat next to her.
VIP travel for very important pastries!
Klum isn't the only Hollywooder talking about Cronuts, which have people so excited there have reportedly been black-market sales, hired line-waiters, and knock-offs galore (sorry ― the "droissant" just isn't as catchy). These celebs have also been chatting about the Cronut:

In New York, people are paying up to $100 for a "cronut," which is croissant/donut. We call these people "midiots," which is a moron/idiot. — Jay Leno (@jayleno) June 25, 2013
