Aubrey O’Day quits ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ (but only briefly)

It was all about Aubrey during Sunday night's episode of "Celebrity Apprentice."

Turning the tables on the Donald Trump reality series that relishes firing its stars, former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day walked off the show because she thought it was too negative.

The 28-year-old "Damaged" singer's team may have won one of the episode's two challenges, but O'Day was called out twice: once for raising the least amount of money for her team and again for not being a team player.

"I don't want to be around all the negativity anymore," she said, adding, "The environment is so ugly. I just don't know if this is the right place for me."

But O'Day's exodus from the show was short lived. The singer/actress/designer, who was discovered in 2004 on MTV's "Making the Band 3," returned to the "Celebrity Apprentice" by the end of the episode.

"I STAY! Xoxo," she tweeted her fans last night after admitting she simply "went 2 church."

This is not the first time O'Day has prematurely departed a reality series. In 2008, after releasing only two albums with Danity Kane, Sean "Diddy" Combs fired the bombshell for trying to boost her own fame at the expense of the group. Of course, Danity Kane became the first female group in Billboard history to debut their first two albums at the top of the charts, so she couldn't have been doing them that much harm.

"I got love for Aubrey. I don't have any beef with her," Diddy said at the time. "I just want to work with the young lady that I signed, not the person that fame has made her."

But O'Day didn't squander the empire she created. Aside from posing in Blender and Maxim (and topless for Complex), in 2011 she appeared on her own reality show, Oxygen's "All About Aubrey," and is about to release her debut album.

You better believe that means she'll be back on "Apprentice" next week.
