Justin Bieber may have scored four trophies at the Teen Choice Awards last night, but it was his red-carpet dates who really felt like the winners.
Before the 18-year-old "Boyfriend" singer took home the trophies for Best Artist and Fashion Icon and performed "As Long As You Love Me" with Big Sean, he posed on the pink carpet with the blushing tween stars of the Lifetime reality show "Dance Moms."
Ranging in age from 7 to 14, the girls from the Abby Lee Dance Company smiled widely for the cameras as they flanked the Biebs. But it was Brooke Hyland, the oldest member of the group, who had a tough time holding it together.
"STARSTRUCK.. Did i really just touch justin bieber?" the 14-year-old tweeted last night.
The Canadian pop star seemed to be messaging Hyland directly when he tweeted, "when u smile i smile. haha. MUCH LOVE. thanks."
The teen dancer also posed with Bieber's protege, Carly Rae Jepsen, and with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez -- photos Hyland proudly shared on Twitter.
But it was Gomez who ended up with the Biebs at the end of the night. The 20-year-old singer/actress, who won Best Music Group with her band the Scene, happened to be celebrating her birthday Sunday night. Canadian "Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev and host Kevin Hart presented her with birthday cupcakes (along with her awards) as the audience sang "Happy Birthday" to her.
The celebrations didn't end there. Following the show, Bieber took Gomez to Il Cielo, a restaurant in Beverly Hills.
"Beyond blessed, so much love. Thank you for the most incredible birthday yet! I'm truly, truly grateful," Gomez wrote on Facebook this morning. "I love my family, friends and all of you."
