Would you pay $49.99 just to catch a glimpse of Kim Kardashian (and her growing baby bump) in person?

A number of Calgarians did just that on Friday at the 17th annual ICED party at Cowboys Dance Hall, which was hosted by Kardashian herself. Eager fans who bought their tickets before everyone else reportedly got a discount and "only" had to pay $30.

But the 32-year-old socialite didn't appear concerned with giving devoted Albertans their money's worth. According to the Calgary Herald, Kardashian raced across the red carpet, barely giving photographers a chance to snap pictures of her Dolce & Gabbana skirt suit and teetering Givenchy sandals.

Kardashian then reportedly posed for a few photos on the party stage before retiring to a white couch in the VIP area with her entourage, snubbing the dance floor in favour of talking with her friends and texting on her phone.

If you thought $30 was steep, fans who wanted to actually talk to the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star had to shell out ten times the price paid by the early birds. Approximately 1,000 solvent fans paid a cool $299.99 to meet Kardashian in the VIP area and were allowed a group photo with Kanye West's main squeeze.

Rob Cyrynowski, with Livestar Entertainment, told the Calgary Sun that it took six months to persuade Kardashian to come to Calgary.

“Her schedule is so demanding," he said. "We lucked out."

Apparently the brunette beauty thought her trip up north was worth it.

"Apple pie carmel apple from the Rockie Mountain Chocolate Factory. Oldie but gooooooodie!!!!" Kardashian tweeted on Friday afternoon.
