  • An open letter to Justin Bieber

Come on Justin, get it together! (Allen Berezovsky/Getty Images)I know we've been getting our fair share of open letters over the past couple months, and I'm not a joiner, which is why I'm only writing one now. But please hear me out: I am writing this letter on behalf of Canadians. Canadians who spent their money on Justin Bieber albums, on seeing the first Justin Bieber documentary, and on ordering pizza to accompany his 2011 Christmas special at Massey Hall. We were the ones who shamed naysayers who didn't recognize his talent, and now we are going full Mom. As in: kid, it's time to get your act together.

    Dear Justin Bieber,

I'm sorry I can't call you "Justin" because it's too familiar, and I'm sorry I can't call you "Mr. Bieber" because that's just too weird. So "Justin Bieber" it is. Hello. I am a 28-year-old Canadian, and I like your music a lot.

You've got a great voice, you can dance like the dickens, and you're a talented human being. I saw your first movie, I watched the Christmas special with my friends, and I still keep your holiday album

  • Justin Bieber may top his terrible 2013 with an even worse 2014.

The "Boyfriend" singer was arrested early Thursday morning in Miami Beach, according to police.

The 19-year-old was driving a rented Lamborghini when he was pulled over at 4:09 a.m. for drag racing, Yahoo has confirmed. He had a female passenger in his car — and, while police didn't identify her, it appears to be model Chantel Jeffries, whom he was seen with earlier in the night. When police performed a field sobriety test, Bieber failed and was then arrested for DUI. He was also charged with resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired driver's license.

During a press conference on Thursday, a police spokesperson told the media that Bieber admitted to officers that he had been drinking, smoking pot, and had taken prescription medication prior to his arrest.

The police rep added that Bieber was "belligerent" when police stopped him for driving 55 to 60 in a 30 mile per hour zone, using several choice words.

  • Allen Berezovsky/Getty Images.Drake may have dropped $17,000 at a Houston strip club last year but Justin Bieber makes that look like small change.

The 19-year-old "Change Me" singer reportedly spent a whopping $75,000 at Miami strip club King of Diamonds earlier this week. In the early morning hours of Tuesday, King of Diamonds's official Twitter account stated, "Justin Bieber just ordered 75k ones."

A rep for the club confirmed to TMZ that Biebs acquired the amount in $1 bills and proceeded to spend it all -- possibly to celebrate rapper Lil Scrappy's birthday.

This is not the first time the Ontario native has dropped a load of cash at strip joint. In October, Bieber photographed a pile of cash -- also in $1 denominations -- inside Houston's Club V.

"I've Danced For A Lot of Celebrities And They Normally Don't Phase Me But Justin just Had Me In Shock!" @1real_diamond tweeted before declaring "I am now a @justinbieber Fan!"

No doubt the dancers at Kind of Diamonds feel the same way.

  • Justin Bieber definitely knows how to shred some powder!

The "Believe" singer hit the slopes in Snowmass, Colorado, with his pals over the holiday weekend and showed off his impressive snowboarding skills in several Instagram videos.

Bieber, who is no stranger to pushing the boundaries on-stage, tried out several new tricks, including an "ollie," and dashed down the slopes at high speeds. The 19-year-old enjoyed the "bros weekend" with several of his buddies, including Josh Gudwin, Khalil, Ryan Butler, and Lil Za.

When they weren't tearing it up on the ski runs, the crew headed to an open-air ice rink to play hockey and have a little fun. The Biebs showed off his smooth moves as he danced on skates with a hockey stick.

Taking off for a snowy getaway couldn't have come at a better time for The Biebs. Last week, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department raided his Calabasas home, which resulted in Lil Za's arrest for drug possession.

  • Ryan Reynolds walking his dog, Baxter. (Splash News)No wonder we keep seeing Ryan Reynolds with dogs -- he hates cats! At least, that's what the director of his upcoming film "The Voices" said at Sundance this weekend.

Marjane Satrapi's new film stars the Canadian actor as a warehouse worker with two talking pets, one of whom is a cat, Mr. Whiskers, who incites his owner to violence. The newly-released poster for the flick shows a bloody hand print beneath two paw prints -- one big, one small. And it turns out it's the smaller paw that concerned Reynolds the most.

“Ryan is scared of cats,” Satrapi said after the film's premiere on Sunday, according to Entertainment Weekly. “Ninety eight per cent of when you see Ryan and the cat, they aren’t in the same room.”

The French filmmaker described a scene in which the 37-year-old actor was told to cradle his furry co-star, which resulted in the B.C.-native getting scratched.

“But that’s Ryan’s fault,” she said. “Be patient instead of just going grabbing a cat. It is a cat. Not a dog. It’s not your

  • George Clooney is not impressed with Canadian bills. (Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic)George Clooney may be flush with cash, but that causes him a certain amount of discomfort in Canada. The "Gravity" star has recently been in British Columbia filming his upcoming sci-fi mystery "Tomorrowland," and he's not too impressed with the new Canadian dollar bills.

"Here's the thing about these Canadian dollars, I was just in Vancouver, I'm surprised you can even get this thing to fold, they don't fold," he told ET Canada. "And they're so clear you can see through them."

"Tomorrowland" started shooting in August in Vancouver and the Okanagan. In September, Clooney cropped up a number of times in Vancouver where he posed with some super excited fans. “OMG GEORGE CLOONEY IS AT MY BAR HOLY S--- LOL” tweeted @Hamhuishipcheck when she saw the 52-year-old actor at Joey’s at Robson and Burrard. Clooney also posed with fans outside Minami restaurant.

But even though he might have been having trouble with his Canuck money around that time, these days he's more concerned about Tina Fey and

  • Drake owned it on Saturday when he hosted "Saturday Night Live"'s first show of 2014. The Canadian "Own It" rapper harked back to his "Degrassi" days with some impressive acting chops which he used to impersonate the likes of Jay Z. He also performed "Started From the Bottom" and "From Time," with Jhene Aiko on the show. Here are the best moments of the night:

    Piers Morgan Cold Open
A spoof of Piers Morgan's interview show had Drizzy in the role of New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez, who is wrapped up in a legal battle regarding alleged past performance enhancing drug use. Drake pulled off a much-lauded impression of the baseball star in which he mocked Rodriguez's litigious behaviour by claiming he was suing dictionary, iPhone and steroids "for being inside of me." The sketch is also worth watching just to see cast member Kate McKinnon play Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, who attempts to explain his recent egg throwing controversy.

  • Aww! Canadian crooner Michael Bublé recently debuted his new tattoo and it's as adorable as he is (possibly more)!

The 38-year-old B.C. native is currently performing in Germany, but he took a moment on Monday to show his fans his new body art.

"I know some have been asking about it... So here it is, my new tattoo!!" he wrote on Instagram with a photo of his right wrist with "Noah" on it in script.

The name is significant because it happens to be that of his first child, who he and wife Luisana Lopilato welcomed in August. In fact, the photo also shows the little boy's hand nestled in Bublé's.

Little wonder that the "Call Me Irresponsible" singer got a tattoo in honour of his son considering how enamoured he is of him. Just last month he revealed how excited he was to celebrate his first Christmas with Noah.

“He's making (it) special for us. It doesn't get any better. It's the greatest thing that's ever happened in my life," he said, according to WENN. "I love that little boy so much. You

Drake has not acted steadily since 2009, when he left the cast of "Degrassi: The Next Generation." But that doesn't mean his skills haven't stayed polished.

In the newly released promos for his hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, the "Started From the Bottom" singer showed off his dramatic chops after admitting he was "on a Canadian soap opera back in the day."
