With rumours swirling that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are back together, fans have been preparing to see the allegedly reunited couple side by side on the red carpet for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" this month. But in Australia on Monday, Pattinson kicked off the promotional tour of the final film in the franchise all by his lonesome.

The 26-year-old British star brought his trademark disheveled look to Sydney, posing and smiling with fans as he took to the red carpet solo. According to The Examiner, Pattinson flew out of Los Angeles to Australia on Friday, while Stewart remained in California to attend Katy Perry's 28th birthday party.

But Twi-hards have nothing to worry about -- Stewart simply has her own work to do. At the same time that RPattz was posing Down Under, KStew was arriving at Narita International Airport in Japan on Monday. The 22-year-old actress was photographed in a backwards cap and carrying an iridescent yellow backpack, posing with fans upon her arrival for her own solo promotional trip.

As it turns out, the entire cast of the "Twilight" film series has been spread across the globe for the final promotional tour in the film franchise. PopSugar reports that Taylor Lautner is set to promote "Twilight" in Brazil, while Ashley Greene will be in South Africa, Kellan Lutz in Scotland, and Nikki Reed in Ireland.

The cast will reportedly be reunited next month when they appear together on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" on Nov. 23.
