Comedian Tracy Morgan remained in critical condition Monday, but the actor's publicist said he's showing signs of improvement.

Tracy Morgan is in critical condition after a six-vehicle crash on the New Jersey turnpike on Saturday left comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair dead. Morgan's assistant Jeffrey Millea, and comedian Ardie Fuqua Jr. are also listed as being in critical condition. Morgan will reportedly remain in hospital for weeks after undergoing surgery.

Kevin Roper, a 35-year-old Wal-Mart truck driver from Georgia, has been charged with crashing into Morgan's vehicle after turning himself in. He was released on a bail of $50,000 on Saturday and is expected to appear in court on Monday.

As Morgan recuperates, a number of his celebrity pals have been sending him their good wishes on Twitter. Here is a round-up of tweets from the stars who are thinking of him:

Morgan, who had been returning from a standup gig at Delaware's Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in a limo bus, was "more responsive" on Sunday, according to his spokesman. The 45-year-old "30 Rock" star was airlifted to the hospital after suffering a broken femur, nose and ribs.
