  • Justin Bieber’s limo driver, security guards have brushes with the law

Photo by Getty ImagesCan't Justin Bieber get some peace and quiet during the holidays? The 19-year-old "Heartbreak" singer is spending the Christmas season skiing and snowmobiling on his home turf but even isolated in the north he can't shake the media.

Following the news that his latest film bombed at the box office, this weekend the Bieb's driver and his bodyguards both had brushes with the law. On Saturday, two of the singer's security guards were arrested in Florida after reportedly attacking a police officer. TMZ reported Hugo Hesny and Michael Arana left a Miami jail Sunday after being arrested following a "Miami Meet Up" for Bieber's new movie, "Believe."

Hesny was reportedly arrested on Saturday for battery with his bail set at $10,500. Meanwhile, Arana allegedly became pugilistic while asking why his friend was cuffed. According to TMZ, he was subsequently arrested himself for disorderly conduct with bail set at $1,500.

While that was going on, the Biebs was snowmobiling in Canada, posting an

  • Benedict Cumberbatch’s mom, Wanda Ventham, has fans too

(L-R) Wanda Ventham, son Benedict Cumberbatch, Tracie Bennett and Timothy Carlton pose backstage at the hit play 'End of The Rainbow' on Broadway at The Belasco Theater on May 1, 2012 in New York City. (Photo by Bruce Glikas/FilmMagic) Benedict Cumberbatch is not the only one in his family with an avid fan base. The "Hobbit" star recently admitted to The Daily Mirror that strangers sometimes come up to him to shower praise on...his mom.

Cumberbatch's mother happens to be British actress Wanda Ventham, who became something of a sex symbol in her home country in the '70s after playing Colonel Virginia Lake in the sci-fi series "UFO" from 1970 to 1973. She met actor Timothy Carlton (Cumberbatch) around this time -- they worked together on the series "A Family at War" -- and they wed in 1976. She gave birth to her now-famous son that same year.

"I've been trapped with men in elevators who say to me, 'Oh... I really used to like your mum. She's really hot,'" Cumberbatch told the Daily Mirror. "I don't know what to say. If I say, 'No, she's not', that is really insulting to my mother, and if I say she is, it seems very wrong. She is smokin', I guess."

While her son may be the bigger name on this side of the pond, Ventham

  • Julia Roberts: A male director asked me to remove two ‘dirty’ freckles

Photo by Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagicShe may be known as "Pretty Woman" to the rest of us, but Julia Roberts was once told by a male director that her face was not up to par.

The 46-year-old "August: Osage County" star recently revealed a male director told her how to improve her looks, Bang Showbiz reported. "One director wanted me to have two freckles taken off because he said it made my face look dirty," she said.

Besides her toothy grin and mane of red hair, Roberts is famous for having a pair of small beauty spots, one under each eye.

According to Gary Marshall, who directed Roberts in "Pretty Woman" back in 1990, negative beauty advice would have initially struck a cord with the actress. He told The Los Angeles Times that back when he met her in the late '80s, "she was worried about dating and how she looked and her career. And now she worries about being a mom."

Roberts, who is now married with three children, appears to no longer be so fixated on her appearance. "I don't spend a lot of time in the mirror," she said,

“It’s so hopeful and inspiring,” she said. “I’ve always been one to believe in the impossible, so I relate to her character completely.”

Jepsen takes over from actress Laura Osnes, who has been playing Cinderella for the past year, and tipped her crown to her predecessor. "Dear @LauraOsnes I think you are truly lovely," Jepsen tweeted her. "Big shoes to fill! It's an honor to try on the Cindy shoes! Xoxox."

  • Paul Rudd pranks Conan O’Brien with ‘Mac and Me’ clip for 9 years

Paul Rudd is making sure the legend of "Mac and Me" continues. The "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" star seems intent on using the 1988 family film as the punch line for the longest-running joke in late-night television.

Starting with his promotional tour for 2004's "40-Year-Old Virgin," Rudd has been swapping out the clip of his movies with the old classic — specifically, the scene in which the little boy loses control of his wheelchair and plummets off a cliff and into some water — each time he appears on Conan O'Brien's show. A video uploaded to YouTube last month shows a supercut of all the times he's done it (six in total).

"You have been showing that stupid clip on my show for, I think, 15 years," O'Brien said in April. "And you always convince me you are not going to show it again. And you promise me you aren't going to show it again, and you show it again."

In fact, the 44-year-old actor would have shown it a seventh time, while he was promoting 2007's "Knocked Up," but Judd

  • Kelly LeBrock, is that you? ‘Weird Science’ beauty gets mug shot

She may have been the perfect woman 28 years ago, but Kelly LeBrock appears to have fallen off her pedestal. The 53-year-old actress played a teen boy's fantasy come to life in 1985's "Weird Science," but now has reportedly been arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence.

LeBrock's mug shot has been released in connection with a Nov. 30 arrest in Santa Barbara, Calif. The actress reportedly drove over the speed limit, ran a stop sign, and swerved. The photo shows the '80s sex symbol in a white fur coat, and still sporting her famous pout and wild mane.
