The TV world is currently buzzing with the name Tatiana Maslany, the Regina-born 27-year-old star of the Canadian sci-fi drama “Orphan Black.” Earlier this month, the actress unexpectedly won the Critics' Choice Television Award for best actress, beating out Claire Danes, Vera Farmiga, Keri Russell, Elisabeth Moss, and Julianna Margulies. Ever since, Emmy rumours have been swirling.

On “Orphan Black,” Maslany plays a series of clones trying the discover the mystery of their identity. And since it’s her breakout role, audiences only know her as serious, tough, and dramatic characters. But her home and native land of Canada won’t let the world forget about her adorable childhood days.

  • Anna Kendrick reveals her tricked-out Invisalign case

Anna Kendrick could very well be the world’s coolest nerd. She’s a musical theatre geek (her next movie roles are both musicals: Kathy in Jason Robert Brown’s "The Last Five Years" and Cinderella in Sondheim’s "Into the Woods"), she’s really into "Game of Thrones", and now we’ve learned she also has braces!

But because she’s Anna Kendrick, her headgear has a bit of flare.

Unlike most brace-faces in their awkward pre-teen years, Kendrick isn’t shy about wearing Invisalign, a form of braces that trades the big, bulky metal contraption for a clear tray.

  • Watch a deleted sketch from Justin Bieber’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ episode

A video or other embedded content has been hidden. Click here to view it.

What do you get when you cross an old country singer with a Dr. Seuss trombone and a teenage pop superstar’s fan base? According to former “Saturday Night Live” star Bill Hader, you apparently get “the greatest trainwreck ever."

Hader recently retired from the famous weekly sketch show after eight years of performing as beloved characters such as cultural correspondent Stefon and film noir actor Vincent Price. But the comedian has now resurfaced alongside “SNL” writers John Solomon and Rob Klein to revisit one of his not-so-bright moments – a scene from Justin Bieber’s episode of “SNL” that no one was supposed to see.

Titled “Song for Daddy,” Hader plays a gravelly-voiced country singer with a unexpectedly experimental song he wrote for his father. Ultimately, “Song for Daddy” never made it passed this first run-through for several reasons, including set mishaps, bad lighting, and material that didn’t get even a snicker from the horde of teenage girls gathered round.

  • Eliza Dushku makes a drastic hair change

    Eliza Dushku/Instagram

When you think of Eliza Dushku, you think of a butt-kicking, backflipping, vampire-slaying brunette, right? Well, maybe not so much anymore.

“Oh, I'm blonde now,” the 32-year-old "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actress wrote as she dropped the bomb on her Instagram feed, along with a photo of herself with her newly-lightened locks.

Do we have “Faith” in this new look for Dushku? After her breakout role on “Buffy”as a vampire slayer gone rogue, Dushku took on similar tough-girl roles on “Tru Calling” and “Dollhouse.” We know she has pulled off highlights before, but now she’s gone all the way. And since we’ve yet to see her out and about with her new hair colour, we have no way of knowing whether this calling was true or not.

Luckily, Dushku posted another photo of her salon trip the following day to reassure everyone that although she went lighter with her hair, she hasn't changed as a person.

  • Heidi Klum shares adorable childhood photo

    Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images

As one of the world’s most famous supermodel-turned-TV host-and-entrepreneurs, Heidi Klum is practically synonymous with fashion and beauty. But just in case anyone out there needed proof that she was destined for this line of work, we now have a photo of Klum at 12 years old – and yup, she was adorable.

“OMG - found another fun photo blast from the past! 12 years old!” Klum tweeted to her followers on Tuesday, along with the photo of her much younger self with short bangs, stick-straight hair, and her instantly recognizable nose, eyes, and mouth. Though, she looks much more casual than the Klum we know and love today – the one that’s known for super-tight cocktail dresses, gold sequins, and lavish Halloween parties.

Now 39 years old, this photo dates back to around 1985 and was probably taken in Klum's native country Germany, where she lived as a child. Seven years later, she enrolled in a German modeling contest called “Model 92” and won. Thus began her career in modeling, until she got her big break in North America with a cover of Sports Illustrated and a runway spot for Victoria’s Secret in the late 1990s.

Today, Klum is a model as well as a shoe, clothing, and fragrance designer, TV host and producer (known for the smash hit reality series “Project Runway” and most recently as a judge on “America’s Got Talent”), a philanthropist, and sometimes an actress and painter as well. Who knew that 12-year-old

  • Jesse James cuts off his finger in grisly accident

    John M. Heller/Getty Images

We’ve always known that Jesse James likes the “tough guy” look, and now he has a battle wound to make it all the more authentic.

James, 44, shocked his Instagram followers on Tuesday when he uploaded a picture of his right hand — except it was missing the tip of its pinky finger. He captioned the photo: “OOOpps, Bad day at the office. Headed 2 Surgery in a few.”

Shortly after, James posted another photo that’s even worse, showing off what used to be his pinky fingernail, along with the caption: “Doesn't look like this little dude's gonna make it, Nice know'n you little buddy.”

Finally, to cap off the ordeal, James posted one final photo as he headed into surgery, writing “Heading 2 Surgery #jessejames #westcoastchoppers #StillMetal” underneath the photo of himself screaming into the camera, making devil horns with his injured hand.

Warning: The photos are very, very graphic, but if you think you can stomach them, you can view the pictures here, here, and here.

James explained the mishap to TMZ as he waited at the University Medical Center Brackenridge in

There was more than one wolf pack walking the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Hangover Part III.” The band of brothers Hanson joined actors Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Ken Jeong to celebrate the third chapter in the “Hangover” franchise.

It might seem surprising to see Isaac, 32, Taylor, 30, and Zac, 27, promoting the movie, since they’re still best known for breaking into the music business as long-haired, squeaky-clean teenagers in the 1990s. But it turns out that their signature tune “MMMBop” is the first song on the movie’s soundtrack, and is played right at the top of the film.

  • What you should know about Luke Kirby, Katie Holmes’s new co-star

    Splash Images

Katie Holmes is currently filming her first major film since her infamous split from Tom Cruise – and it looks to be pretty steamy. The actress was spotted on the streets of Manhattan’s Lower East Side this week filming a romantic-looking scene by a church.

Dressed in a raggedy t-shirt and shorts, she held hands and canoodled with another man, also dressed in a T-shirt and jeans. While the film, “Mania Days” by director Spike Lee, will no doubt get a lot of buzz because of Holmes's involvement, her co-star should be getting his fair share of attention, too. Hamilton-born actor Luke Kirby is the handsome devil everyone’s talking about – and it won't be the last time you’ll hear his name. Here’s what you should know about Luke before he hits the big time:
